Role: Creative Producer, Scriptwriter, Performer

CHALLENGE

When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down in-person gatherings, Legacy Church needed a new way to reach kids at home. They had no digital programming in place, and thousands of families were searching for a safe, engaging, and fun experience that could keep their kids connected.

PROCESS

As Creator and Executive Producer, I built The LKIDS Show from the ground up — developing a full-scale children’s program that blended entertainment, education, and digital media strategy.

  • Full Creative Ownership: I still solely write, produce, and creatively lead the show remotely, delivering complete scripts, content, and production direction each week.

  • Content Development: Create and deliver full scripts, including run-throughs for hosts and talent.

  • Design & Media Creation: Produce all graphics, visuals, motion assets, and voiceovers to support episodes and promotions.

  • Production Direction: Manage wardrobe, props, and set design remotely, ensuring every element aligns with the show’s creative vision.

  • On-Camera Talent: Served as host and performer until I relocated across the country, giving me deep perspective on performance direction and audience engagement.

  • Leadership Transition: While handling all creative assets and scripts, I also guide the videographer and editor to bring the show to life weekly.

RESULTS

 Distribution & Impact

  • Established The LKIDS Show as the primary children’s service content at Legacy, distributed weekly across 10 campuses.

  • Created over 300 episodes.
  • Grew beyond its original purpose: the show’s YouTube channel organically scaled to 90,000+ subscribers, creating national visibility.

  • From that reach, churches across the U.S. discovered the show on YouTube and, by popular request, it was made available for ministries nationwide to use as their own service content.

  • Became a program that continues to impact thousands of children every week, demonstrating its scalability, adaptability, and broad appeal.
